Affordable and Good Quality February 14, 2010

I decided to wait a while before reviewing this product to allow my daughter ample time to give me feedback.
After months of researching an affordable violin for my 13 yr old daughter, I found this here on Amazon and brough it for Christmas. I had so many worries: how would I get the bridge installed, how much it would cost, would it tune, etc. Well, my daughter's music teacher installed the bridge with no problem and at no charge and my daughter states she loves this violin more than the Yamaha brand we had rented.
Also, I read a lot of complaints about the strings constantly breaking on other "affordable" violins, we haven't had that problem with this Cremona. In addition to that, my daughter says that she hasn't had issues with tuning. Keep in mind, she is in the 8th grade and has played the violin since 4th grade, so I like to think she is somewhat knowledgeable. She's definitely more knowledgeable about violins compare to me.

I am not an expert on violins but I hope this review helps anyone looking for an affordable violin, especially single moms like me who live on a very tight budget.
